Why has my Payments Hub and Payanywhere password expired?
Enforced 60-day password expiration policy
To ensure the security of your account, a 60-day password expiration policy has been implemented in version 6.7 of Payments Hub and the Payanywhere app. This will require all users to change their password every 60 days.
In this article:
How it works
Users with passwords approaching the 60-day mark will be required to change their password.
You will receive an email notification seven days prior to the expiry date to serve as a reminder to update your password. If you don't receive the email notification, you can still log into Payments Hub and you will be prompted to reset your password in order to proceed.
How to reset your password
You can reset your password by visiting the Payments Hub forgot password page here.
Enter the email address associated with your account and follow the prompts to reset your password.
Once you have updated your credentials in Payments Hub and the app is already logged in or in an automatic login state you will want to log out and back in again.
Password requirements
When creating a new password, please ensure that it meets the following requirements:
- It must be at least 8 characters long
- It must include at least 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter, and 1 number or symbol (~!@#$%^&*()_+)
- It cannot be a commonly used password or one that you have used recently
