What does the Sekure refer-a-friend program entail?

When you refer a friend to Sekure and both you (the "referrer") and your friend (the "referee") fulfill all eligibility criteria, both of you will be eligible to receive a digital Visa® prepaid card.

Who is eligible for Sekure's refer-a-friend program? 

Anyone can refer a business that is not owned by the referrer to Sekure.

If you're the one being referred ("referee"), you need to become a Sekure customer by creating a new account and processing transactions for a 30-day period with a minimum total of $300 batched.

When is the referral process considered finalized?

The process is finished once a referred friend ("referee") finalizes their merchant service agreement with Sekure and processes transactions for a 30-day period, totaling $300 or more. This will mark the successful completion of the referral process for both the referee and the referrer.

What is the expected timeframe for receiving my reward?

Upon successful verification and activation of the referee's account, along with the fulfillment of the referral process (consisting of processing transactions for 30 days or more with a combined total of $300 or more), the reward will be sent to the email you provided in the form of a coupon code. Depending on when the referral process is finalized, both the referrer and the referee can anticipate receiving the reward within a timeframe of 4 to 6 weeks.

Is there a limit to the number of rewards I can earn?

No, there is no limit to how many rewards you can obtain with a successful referral, as long as our refer-a-friend program is running.

What occurs if I decide to cancel my Sekure service?

As a Referrer, if you cancel your Sekure service before the referral process has been completed, you will  still be eligible to earn refer-a-friend program rewards.

As a Referee, if you cancel your Sekure service before the referral process has been completed, your reward will be forfeited. 

Do referrals have an expiration date?

No, your referrals will not expire.

How can I monitor the status of a referral?

Will I receive a reward if I become a Sekure customer shortly before someone refers my business?

No. In order to qualify for a refer-a-friend reward you need to be referred before you become a Sekure customer. However, you can refer-a-friend to start earning rewards.
