How do I take and process offline transactions?
To enable offline transactions, head to menu → settings → payment types.
By enabling offline transactions, you're responsible for any declined transactions or chargebacks.
Offline transactions must be processed within 72 hours of being saved.
Don't clear app or device data if you have offline transactions that haven't been processed yet. Doing so will result in those transactions being lost.
How to process offline transactions:
- If the internet connection is weak/offline, a popup appears asking if you would like to process it as an offline transaction.
- This applies only to swiped EMV chip cards and cash transactions.
- The default transaction limit is set to $100.
- You can review transactions under menu → offline transactions.
- When a connection is reestablished, a popup appears asking you if you'd like to process all offline transactions.
- You may also view pending offline transactions by heading to menu → transactions → pending.
