How do I make a sale on my Smart Flex?

Use this guide to make your first sale on your Smart Flex

To make a sale, you must first choose a theme. Payanywhere’s default terminal theme functions like a traditional credit card terminal. If you require advanced features such as inventory management and open tabs, you can switch to the retail theme. You can change your theme by accessing the "settings" icon and selecting "settings and theme".

Making a sale with the terminal theme

1. On the "new sale" screen, enter the dollar amount.
2. Insert an EMV chip card into the terminal or select the desired payment method at the bottom of the screen.
3. If necessary, have your customer sign and provide a tip.
4. Choose to email, print, or send an SMS text receipt to your customer.

Making a sale with the retail theme

1. Add one or more items to your cart.
2. Tap "charge" to proceed to checkout or select "create ticket" to create an open ticket.

3. Insert an EMV chip card into the terminal or choose the desired payment method from the "checkout" screen.

4. If necessary, have your customer sign and provide a tip.
5. Choose to email, print, or send an SMS text receipt to your customer.
