How do I connect my Smart POS+ to Wi-Fi?
- To get started with your terminal, tap the settings app icon on the home screen. Check that your time zone is correct by tapping date and time. This is important as an incorrect time zone can affect your funding.
- To connect to the internet, tap Wi-Fi and turn on wireless and Wi-Fi.
- If you prefer a wired connection, an ethernet cord is included. Simply connect one end of the cord to the ethernet port and the other end to your internet router.
- Select your desired network, enter the password if required, and tap connect.
- If you're unable to connect to a Wi-Fi network, don't worry! Your terminal is equipped with 4G cellular connectivity.
- Tap the settings app icon, scroll down, and select "cellular network/data." Toggle on "cellular data" to enable the 4G network. Please note that not all devices come with a SIM card, so be sure to request one beforehand.
- Once you're connected, you should see a "connected" status on your selected network. To return to the home screen, tap the home icon.
