How do I accept contactless (NFC) payments on my First Data FD150 terminal?
You can accept NFC payments on your First Data (FD150) terminal the same way you do any other payment
- Take payments using the EMV chip card reader, magnetic stripe reader, or built-in support for contactless payments (i.e. Apple or Google Pay).
- Press "sale" on the screen.
- Enter the total sale amount and press the green [↵] button to confirm.
- Use the yellow [⟵] button as a backspace for making any changes.
- (Optional) If prompted, enter a tip and press the green [↵] button to confirm.
- For no tip, press the red [X] button to skip.
- Insert an EMV chip card, swipe a magnetic stripe card, or hold an NFC card or device near the terminal or a connected PIN pad.
- Wait for the business copy of the sales receipt to print automatically.
- Tap "yes" to print a customer receipt or "no" for no receipt.
