How do I accept a payment on my Payanywhere virtual terminal?
To process a payment through the virtual terminal, follow these steps:
- Enter the customer's information, including their contact details for an optional email or text receipt.
- Choose the items you're selling from your inventory by selecting "itemized sale."
- Enter the transaction amount along with any relevant notes.
- Select the payment method you prefer.
- For existing customers with a saved payment method on file, you can choose to use that method to complete the transaction.
- Enter the customer's credit card information, and we recommend adding the optional billing street number and zip code to protect against potential disputes.
- You can save the customer's card information for future purchases.
- Click "process payment" to complete the transaction.
