Card reader cannot read cards successfully

  1. Ensure your phone/tablet is a supported model for the card reader's operation.
  2. If the card reader's battery is low, connect it to a power source using the USB cable to recharge it before trying again.
  3. To turn on the card reader, press the power button. Once it's on, the card reader will automatically reconnect with your smartphone or tablet.
  4. Ensure the card reader or smartphone/tablet is within the reception range.
  5. Check that the card slot is free of debris.
  6. Check if the magstripe or chip of the card is facing the right direction when swiping or inserting the card.
  7. Swipe or insert the card with a more constant speed.
